Once upon a time there was a little girl whose mommy loved her so much she made her a lovely cape of red velvet with red satin lining, and so she was called Little Red Riding Hood.Unfortunately, Little Red's parents had to go out of town on the weekend of Halloween, and were unable to accompany her to the Church party and trick-or-treating. Some wonderful friends did that in their stead. It seems without parental supervision, Little Red, while traipsing through the woods, took the liberty of nibbling all of her Grandmother's treats, and so her poor Grandmother was forced to go hungry.
