Even with all the destruction left in the wake of the flood, I still have a hard time coming to grips with what happened. I took some photos today at the same spot we took them when the flood was near cresting. The before and after is stunning.
David and Abigail Thuet. Why the heck didn't I know you had a blog?? I feel like I've been deprived! Funny, I went to change my "location" on my blog profile, and accidentally pulled up every blog with Iowa City listed. And I saw YOU GUYS! Funny. But now I plan on stalking you for as long as you let me. Miss you guys. Good luck gutting more houses and other clean up. If you're looking to move anywhere, Denver is pretty sweet!!
Dave and Abby, I am glad to hear that you were safe from the flooding. We saw it when we drove across the county. We were sorry the timing didn't work out to stop and see you. For all we know, it may not have been possible with the flooding. It looks like you all have fun in Vegas. Enjoy studing teeth.
