Dinner tonight

Eggs Benedict
To eat or not to eat? Well, Dave ate all of his and half of mine. I, however, scarfed down a handful of Skittles to cover up the taste before I gagged. I think I would have enjoyed it more if the eggs were over cooked so there was no liquid yoke, though Eggs Benedict is suppose to be made with soft yokes, not hard.
Since Dave liked this dish so much I'll probably be making it again, but next time I'll make mine "deluxe" which is to add a slice of grilled onion and grilled pepper.

What is Eggs Benedict? A toasted english muffin topped with a slice of canadian bacon, one poached egg, and smothered in hollandaise sauce (egg yoke, lemon juice, and BUTTER. Lots of it.) Ooh. I can almost feel my arteries clogging.

TJ LOVES Eggs Benedict. I think it's good - but you're right - totally artery clogging! So we compromise and it's been our Christmas morning breakfast for the past two years. I can do 1,000 calories for breakfast once a year :)
