The sand was my favorite part. Did you know sand is more than just tiny rocks? It's true. There are sticks, broken beer bottles, bird feathers, bugs, and slime! Although, I admit the slime was mostly from my nose.

It was a beautiful morning. There was no one else at the beach, the sky was blue, the water wasn't freezing,

and the only reason I really needed my sunglasses was to deflect the glare coming off my parents pasty skin.
I personally didn't care for the water, but mommy and daddy both took a dip. The water was a bit chill and so, naturally, they shrieked, which I didn't understand and so, I am sorry to say, the sound and the strangeness of it all terrified me, especially seeing them go under the water; when mommy disappeared I went hysterical. But then daddy started feeding me snacks and I forgot her danger. It was rather funny when mommy popped out of the water and... woops! She wasn't the only thing popping out; I thought
it must be time for lunch. (I don't think she'll be wearing that bathing suit in public again any time soon!)

Hilarious! What a fun day at the beach! We just moved to Orange County and made friends with at 4th year dental student who has a huge aquarium and we thought of you guys!
How adorable!! Looks like you guys had a great time. Jake used to get freaked out when we would go under water too, now he just gets right in on the action! Love it!
Paige looks sooo cute! I LOVE the sun hat!
