Finally, a Christmas Tree!

Because we were out of town for the middle of December we knew we'd have to wait to get a Christmas tree. Well, we had no idea just how difficult that was going to be! We looked at Menards Hardware, then Paul's, then Dairy Queen parking lot, then Walmart, Lowe's, HyVee grocery, and finally someone suggested Ace Hardware "they had 20 trees left this morning." So we headed right over and they had 6 left. Their trees were wrapped up so we had no idea what we were getting, but beggars can't be choosers.
Once we got it home and unwrapped, aside from the tree already being mostly dried out, it was quite perfect. Time to decorate!

To celebrate Dave graduating dental school - I never noticed it said "1010" instead of "2010."
A bean for Paiges 1st Christmas last year.

Jamaica Santa came from the Christmas when my family spent it on a Caribbean cruise. One of the best Christmases ever!

"Edward" to represent the Twilight craze of that year. The Pendleton Underground - the neatest tourist attraction in the North west! And consequently where my mom grew up.

The week before Dave and I were married in the Las Vegas Temple, my family stayed on the Strip in the Flamingo Hotel.
The little shoes were brought back from Holland when my sister Emily went backpacking through Europe.

We don't have anything for the top of the tree, so we used a Fairy.

Fairy's work. I love Paige all wrapped in the lights. So cute. Nice dental ornament too.

Awesome. Love the Jamaican Santa. Oh, and your Christmas-light helper. You could hire her out. :)
