I am not a huge fan of ground beef, but if I were, this meal would be delicious - Dave enjoyed it.
Mix your ground meat with evaporated milk and any other spices you want - the recipe called for none, but yuck. Plain hamburger? No thanks. Add chopped onions, garlic powder, salt pepper, and thyme. Then pat them into patties.
Cook stuffing - Stove top worked just great.
Plop a dollop of stuffing in the center of the patty and fold up the sides until you have a nice little bundle (I couldn't get mine to seal very well, but it still worked.) Place in a baking pan.
Next, over the stove mix together a gravy of Cream of mushroom soup, ketchup, and worcestershire sauce. Pour over the meatballs. Bake 45 minutes. Done!
This meal requires a couple of sides. Try a salad and some glazed carrots:
Boil carrots until barely firm. In a skillet melt butter and brown sugar. Toss the carrots in the skillet for a few minutes until well coated. Serve.
