Thank heaven for the new visitor center next to the Nauvoo Temple! What a lifesaver. Complete with toys, T.V., mini kitchen, mothers' nursing lounge with crib, you have everything you need except the babysitter, but still, everything the babysitter needs (just try and keep the peanut butter and jelly off the slightly-too-nice-for-a-daycare- furniture.) Paige had a great time there while Dave and I were able to spend time inside the Temple. *Thank you sooooo much Nathan for taking our place and babysitting so we could attend as a couple. You are the best!
Just as we were driving away down main street I spied a familiar face. Sure enough, strolling down the road were the husband and adorable little girl of my childhood friend Jenalee. Unfortunately she was back at the hotel and we were on a time crunch. I had to take a picture with her baby to prove to Jenalee I did in fact see them.
Is it just me, or does little Daphne seem slightly afraid of the strange woman smiling at her?

I'm so sad I didn't get to see you! Don't worry, that's NOT her afraid face. That's her curiously amused face. Glad she got to see you at least!
