An Apple Orchard Autumn

After paying our respects :), we ventured on a little tractor ride through the maize of trees with friends and strangers. Unfortunately, a few of the sudden crashes from the tractor, and perhaps the unaccountable moving scenery, sent Paige into hysterics. For the benefit of everyone else, we jumped ship at the far end of the orchard and decided to make our way back on foot.

We scanned the trees and found a paper prize! When we turned it in it was redeemed for a pumpkin carving knife.

We sat next to the stream under a weeping willow and munched apples, talked, and enjoyed the beautiful day.

When we returned we treated ourselves to fresh apple cider doughnuts and a delicious apple cider slushy. All in all, a lovely day.
