Quiche Lorraine




I had never made a quiche before. This recipe calls for a home made crust made of parmesan and Cream Cheese.

The custard mixes sour cream, whole milk, eggs, nutmeg, and Gruyere cheese. Sprinkle in some bacon, add a bit more to the top once it is bakes.

Surprisingly, Dave rather enjoyed this quiche pie. Next time I think I'll try swiss cheese. Sounds way more economical than Gruyere!

I've never even heard of gruyere cheese. It looks yummy though, anything with bacon must be good.
