For four years Dave has been anticipating (and dreading?) these final board exams. These are the clinical ones where he works on real patients. Two different types of fillings, a deep cleaning, and two root canals (though the root canals are not on real patients.) It is a two-day exam, and for those two days the entire 4th year dental students are stressed to the point of breaking.
A couple of our friends brought over yummy muffins to celebrate and Paige insisted on wearing the party hat - though daddy wondered why we put his baby girl in a dunces cap?
