To Eat or Not to Eat

To eat! Especially with raspberry jam. Yum! Like most rolls these take quite a bit of preparation: mix flour gradually; grease sides of bowl then coat the dough; let it rise - I got talking on the phone so my dough rose a bit high! Then roll out your dough; lightly coat it in butter; cut it into squares; roll up each square; let rise again; bake. Phew. But yummy.

One of the hardest things about making rolls is the time investment, but I learned a great trick to speed up the process: stick the covered bowl of dough into the sink. Fill the sink with very hot water until it comes up halfway on the bowl. Viola.
